    with that said, i find that tumi makes pretty good bags, but right now i'm looking for something that is checkpoint friendly, ie: can get through airport security without taking out my laptop cause i'm on the plane a lot :o

    I think you want a messenger style bag, not what I consider an actual messenger bag like the ones I use for function (my chrome is amazingly versitile and rugged).
