I really don't know what I did, if anything. I didn't do anything different that day then I normally do, other then doing pad work with a really really short guy (me:6'4 him: 5'4)
I didn't even do that much. Just some skipping/jogging/pad work/shadow boxing. But didn't stick around for the mma class after because my legs were killing me.
Now 2 days later I still can't walk properly, my calfs are on fire and very very very tight.

Defiantely feels like more then just regular stiffness after a workout. I work out my legs on a regular basis, as well bike/rollerblade/jog/climb quite often, and have never had my legs do this before.

    :wtf:

Never had shin splints before so not sure what they're like. Might go to a walk in clinic later.

I ate before I went to the gym, and drank 3 bottles of water in the hour I was there. Just got back from the doctors, they checked some things and ran some tests, made sure there were no clots or anthing.
Ended up telling me that my calf muscles are over tense. Basically in a constant state of "flexing". My left is starting to relax, which is why it's not as painfull as the right is.
Basically just prescribed some anti-inflamatory/muscle relaxants, and told me to take them with some advil for the next few days. And if it doesn't help, then go back. yaddy yaddy yadda.
I guess I probably shouldn't go to the gym tonight huh?

I did stretch quite a bit. But I guess I need to stretch my calves more. My left leg is alot looser now. Still a bit soar, but it's ALOT better. Right is still pretty tense. It's like having a muscle cramp that just wont go away.

you'll get all sorts of weird stuff from training.. i have chronic lower back problems and i dont know why. if i stand up for more then 20 minutes my lower back starts to throb, and i have to sit. I got an MRI and they said i have very slight arthritis, and that it shouldnt be affecting me too much. :dunno:

but yeah.. youll always have some weird crap going on. bodies are delicate

At the moment, my right hand and wrist are killing me, my right knee and ankle, my lower back, and my left clavicle (Apparently I fractured my left clavicle and didn't know it, surprise injuries FTW!)
