Working with weight I can easily handle. I lost my focus for just a second. Totally my fault. I always wear my ipod when I squat, because I like to put 100% into my squats. I was JUST getting to my working sets and a guy was talking to me. I had my ipod off as I usually don't have it on warming up. I just left it off during my first work set. Banged out 10 reps, racked it no problem. Wait 90 seconds and was going to do it again. Still talking with the guy and I SHOULD have put my headphones in as it was time to get serious. I get to the 10th rep and the guy wouldn't STFU and I just lost focus for a second. I leaned forward just a bit to much and rounded up. Made an s curve to get back up and knew I hurt my back as soon as I did it. I racked it, took my belt off and fell to the ground. It was a stupid mistake, one I've never made when squatting. That happened at 2pm. Took me 15 min to get up. Managed to drive home. I've been icing on/off since. Taken a bunch of motrin and hitting a pain killer before I go to bed. Managed to see my massage therapist at 5. She literally couldn't believe how locked up my back was. I can't stand straight. I walk like I'm 90. Have to walk very slow. What REALLY sucks, I fly out for the Olympia on thursday. My girl lands on friday. Got a killer weekend planned for her and I to just get away for a bit. You can imagine the amount of ground-n-pound that was scheduled. Right now, I can't even imagine moving. THIS FUCKING BLOWS!!!!!!!!!!
