Anyone know of any software that will combine movie files? I've got some movies in two parts and would like to merge the two parts into one file.

iMovie can do this pretty easily, and it should already be installed.

or obviously something more advanced like Final cut pro.

Quicktime Pro can do it as can VisualHub.

With Quicktime Pro you'd just wanna copy the one video, choose the place (start, end, and anywhere inbetween) and hit paste.

With VisualHub you just need to drop the 2 videos on it, select the output file type, check the "Stitch Videos Together" box, and hit the "Start" button.

yeah visualhub is great for a lot of things.. if the vid files are exactly the same format then ffmpeg (free) has a join tool.
