Looking to buy a pair of men's dress shoes.. size 14. Looking for something stylish as well. Tryin to keep it around the 90-100 range. Brand/style suggestions?

:werd:. seems to me that there's a few things in life that are almost definitely higher quality when you spend more money. home theatre is one, and dress shoes are the other. Allen Edmonds are great, wore mine daily for school for 2 years. the actual leather is still in great condition, no ugly creases anywhere. the soles and heels are wrecked to shit, nothing a re-soling cant fix.

Any recommendations on modern styles of them? I'd be wearing them 2-3 times a week tops and not with a suit, just a dress shirt, sometimes a tie. Not looking for extreme business shoes, just something that is more fitting that tennis shoes

    Fixed.

Allen Edmonds are very nice, but Alden is a much better brand for the price

AE can also be found for a good price on the internet. try looking around sierratradingpost and ebay once in a while

agreed, but the main problem is availability in B&M stores to size Aldens....chances are he's never tried any alden's and won't know his exact size/width much less be able to account for sizing differences on the different lasts
