    Rotary or PC/UDM?

I don't use orange foam cutting pads with my rotary, too stiff. If I need extra cut beyond a foam polishing pad, I switch to wool. The yellow Meguiars Solo wool pad is pretty good, I also have a foamed white wool pad from American Buffing that does a good job too.

I have a feeling all you will need is a polishing pad though, I used Ultrafina and the blue Ultrafina pad to take light to moderate swirls out of a black WRX.

With the PC, I would use an orange pad. I prefer a low profile pad. You simply get more cut. #105 is very pad dependent though. Start out with the least aggressive setup. Spend a few minutes on a test section and save hours on the car.
