My question is what the title suggests which wax is better for a black car, Meguair #16 or #26 in terms of reflection and the overall wet look? I plan to use either of these with vanilla moose hand glaze. So pictures of those who have used either would be greatly appreciated.

#26 is going to give a warmer and softer look and #16 will give you more of a glassy wet look. #16 has sharper reflections, #26 has a bit more depth.

Pics won't really show that much since the differnces aren't huge and proper prep plays a huge role in how a wax will look. #16 will last longer if that matters to you.

I already have #26 so would it be worth it for me to buy #16 or should I keep using #26 until it runs out?

As long as you are happy with #26, I see no reason to try anything else until you need to.
