I will never give him any of my money ever again. Horrible buying experience with him.

I was going to order a stripped lower and upper from him for $200 plus shipping back in October. Emails were quick but I never sent off the money. Havent read anything bad about Jason on SIG forum ever.

He flipped his shit when I asked for an update on when the lowers would be in. I asked in the specific group buy thread. This was probably 2 weeks after not hearing anything. He accused me of trying to make a straw purchase threw a hissy fit and then had the entire thread deleted. I think I ended up needing to send him my ffl info 3 times as well as 2 seperate order sheets.

The wait for the lower was 3-4 months which was about right given the current situation.

I was actually going to buy a sig from him as well. He posted an interesting deal on a local forum. I sent an email asking a few questions about what he had in stock and what his thoughts were on a few things, never heard back. My money was and will be spent elsewhere.

I'm just not going to give people money with shit attitudes. Too many people in this industry right now feel they can get away with shit customer service. Sadly the current demand for product allows that. Hopefully that will continue to slowly change and things will eventually go back to "normal"

That sucks dude. All my deals with Jason have been pretty good. I've gotten (4) lowers from him in (2) transactions so far.

That's what I don't get. Just about everyone has had nothing but great things to say about him.

There was apparently a few people down here that were waiting on their lowers and felt they were getting the run around and didn't like his attitude, but were afraid of saying something on fma for fear of being banned. :dunno:

Kind of sucks because I'm in the market for a paclite upper as well :o

My Mega's got delayed a bit, but that was Moe's fault. He didn't realize he had them in the bottom of a box from Jason. Kinda pissed me off as he found them 2 weeks later.

Jason was always straight up with me.... Even went out of his way to attempt to help resolve some conflicts I was having with another dealer.

I heard about the lower deal going a little hinky...... I think unfortunately he found himself in a overwhelming position (not that it's an excuse for anything...). He seemed pretty stressed out about all of that, and was working crazy hours from what he alluded to me.

That sucks. What all are you planning on building?

My spikes 9mm upper should be here tomorrow.

I'm probably going to pick up an ar-10 lower/upper pretty soon and hold onto it until I actually get some of my projects finished.

Yeah I think that pretty much sums it up. So I figured I'd ask in the group buy thread for an update, not only for myself but for everyone else. Thought I'd eliminate a few phone calls or emails :p

$170 shipped. It's one of their new billet stripped uppers. Comes with the half door/hardware and that's it.

I'll probably end up ordering a bcg and barrel from them in the future, but not until sbr paper work is done.

I think the upper was only 10~20 cheaper than the "non defect" ones are going to be. :o

That's exactly what I was going to do. And then sell the 16" barrel, handguards etc. But the 4-6 month wait for rra products killed that. And then I saw the spikes uppers going on sale, I figured I should jump on it.. Should be great for running suppressed. :x:

I'm gonna buy used I think, especially since it'll get a new barrel anyway. Spikes shit is so hot though :o

If you're patient you can build a new one cheaper than the used ones are going for.

I've got one of spikes ST-9X buffers in my 9mm build and it's pretty fucken nice. :o Just hope it works as advertised.

I put together a no-nonsense lightweight 16" carbine first on a Cav lower. Flat top, Larue BUIS, 16" pencil barrel. 6 lb 11oz. Gonna keep it basic and as a shooter.

Then with one of the Mega's I'll be following something similar to yours SBR 9mm, eventually w/ a can.

I'm thinking of building a dedicated .22 ar using the cav lower. :bigthumb:
