I've got a meeting with a Brigadier General tomorrow afternoon, anything I should know in advance as a civilian as far as handling myself etc....?

real answer: just be polite but no need to be overly cordial. don't call him sir every 5 seconds.

tell him to drop and give you 20. also ask how Sgt Slaughter is doing these days.
just be polite. he's a regular guy, just in the military.

act as you would at a buisness meeting. leave the military courtesy stuff to the soldiers.

Don't forget to let him know that you pay his salary.
