Me, need advice *pics*

    Please Read This Before Flaming Me:hs:

    I'm only 16, ill be 17 in October,I weigh 187 Pounds and im 6"0. I quit playing soccer this year for a year due to work and gained a lot of weight because I would be drinking, smoking, eating fast food, and stopped going to the gym which made me lose a lot of muscle and gain a couple pounds.

    I am starting soccer seriously now, since most of my friends have been sent to France, Argentina, Uruguay ect.. to soccer. They told me if I train hard enough they could get me a couple tryouts hopefully.

    I'm at a stage where I can do a lot of different things. The main thing I want to do is get bigger and still do cardio at the same time to keep up with soccer.

    Please tell me what I should be eating, working out on, what kinds of proteins or other stuff I should try and anything else that would be necessary for me.

    just eat clean and set up a good diet. doing squats and deadlifts will help your soccer by earning overall leg strength and stronger core.



    food...chicken breast, meats in general, fish, brown rice, oatmeal, natural peanut butter, veggies and all that shit. drop the junk food, soda, and all those useless calories.

    west side is not the be all and end all of athletic training. Its just the one on the internet.

    "Westside" is not for athletic training, its for powerlifters

    Defranco's program is a solid program for athletes no need to dismiss it right away just because it has westside in the name.

    any basic routine and solid diet will be just fine. You dont need the latest and greatest internet scheme routine. expecialy at your age.
