    So last week I got an itch... and while going from one customer to another I just HAD to stop by one of the fun err...... Gun stores here in town. Low and behold they had a GSG5 in stock and at a decent price.
    So home I went with a new toy and decided to take the family out this weekend...

    All laid out and ready to go!

    My 10yo trying out the AR yet again....

    The wifey playing with the GSG.... out of the box its been flawless :bowdown:

    About 125'/150' my 10yo is picking off clay pigeons w/ the AR... :noes:

    While shooting I yelled out his name to see what he would do. He instantly removed his finger from the trigger and spun his head. :bowdown:

    With the lack of ammo and the cost when it can be found... I'm enjoying the hell of the .22's! All in all it was a badass sunday morning!

    I would probably be more pro-active about my kids using eye protection if they were shooting semi-autos.

    yea.. the lil shit is spoiled! I NEVER did anything like this at that age.

    matt;
    no idea as I need to pull it down and give it a good cleaning. I ran a bore snake through it, but need to give it a full clean. From the looks of it... it does not seem all that bad

    no reason not to get them into the habit of wearing muffs. When they step up to bigger calibers they'll be more comfortable wearing them. Do you ever shoot your pistol when they're only wearing plugs?

    I'm not saying you HAVE to wear muffs, but it's good to get them in the habbit of wearing them. You'd probably be OK with .22 and plugs. Moreso commenting on the eye protection. OH, and what the fuck does it being a semi auto vs. a single shot have to do with ricochet and bullet splatter when it comes to wearing eye protection?

    My oldest turns 8 in 3 days. Told him that's when I would teach him and his 6 yr old brother how to shoot.

    But I've bought them Red Ryder BB guns to start and learn the basics... on to the 10/22 after that.

    When you do it give us some kind of AAR. It shouldn't be too bad, but you never know. (I'm not asking for pictures or anything just is it hard to do or not) Know what I mean?
