Alright, so a few days ago while I was turning off my computer i got a blue screen that said machine check exception. I came back to the computer a few days later, and windows would load up but it would freeze within 10 seconds of showing the desktop. So, is my processor fried? I put thermal paste on the processor myself..never had any problems with it as it ran at 41 degrees C consistently.

It could be a bunch of things, but the least likely one is a bad cpu.

You're getting that because the cpu detected a fault somewhere else.
