so i just ordered a brand spankin new macbook pro
    here is my question
if i install bootcamp, or parallels, will it run games at a native speed?
    ie: will it run like a pc laptop with a 2.33 core 2, 2gb ram, and a 256mb x1600?
i want to play medieval 2, and i know its pretty demanding, so i hope thisll work

I run Company of Heroes all the time in BootCamp.

Parallels will not work well with games.

parallels will run like shit, i couldn't even run half life which was designed for pcs from 97.

However, boot camp runs like a pro :big grin:.

haha, buy a mouse and keyboard for gaming, even with just a mouse the macbook pro keyboard isn't the best for fps

I don't know if it's even possible... they're basically overlaying the windows desktop on the OSX desktop... most games go outside the desktop environment entirely; I think it's beyond what Parallels was ever meant to do.
