the MB is a 99 and the BMW is an 00

i own the BMW now and am kinda tired of it - plus im planning on the redesigned coupe in Fall/Winter 06...i can get a straight trade for the MB...pros/cons?

I don't know what this guy is talking about. My dad's MB has the same trans, and it currently has 230k miles on it without a service!

if you are planning on a new car in less than a year, your best bet is to stay put where you are. even if you got a straight trade, you still have to pay tax, title, license. besides, better to stay with a car you know than jump into a new one that can give you unexpected trouble in that short time

    Just wait.

The transaction costs are too high if you are going to get a new car next year.

very true- still weighing my options-

    current car needs -
    brakes - ~$700
    Leak in radiator somewhere- ~$??
    Bubbles on 3/4 tires - ~$300-400
    Filthy ass tan interior- ~$?
Has Kit and is too low to the ground for mass snow conditions

not sure....going to look at some more 430s and 320s today....was told that the 07 BMW wont be out until fall sometime...

yeah but all that is cost of ownership. you'd get that much less on a trade value if you got a new car anyway

get the mb and wait until 08 for the e90 coupe. 1st shipment usually comes with load of problems.
