Just wanted to see who else here has one of the best 2-Seater Roadster's ever built. NA, NB, or NC. Post what you've got and what your goals are with the car. Do you Auto-X, SCCA, Drift, Drag? Let us know! :coolugh:

    Here's mine:

    2004 Mazdaspeed MX-5 - Velocity Red
Bossfrog SCCA Rollbar - Momo Start Seat - Momo Drift Steering Wheel - G-Force 6-Point Harness
16x7 Flik Apex2 Wheels (Drifting) - Kumho Ecsta SPT Tires (Drifting) - H&R Lowering Springs
16x7 Enkei RS-6 Wheels (Daily) - Yokohama AVS Sport Tires (Daily) - Front Tie Rod Spacers
Flyin Miata Intake - Flyin Miata Throttle Body Inlet Pipe - GFB Red Blow Off Valve

I'm big into the drifting bit now as I've found it to be a lot more fun than regular auto-x. The Roadster is hard to drift because of the short wheelbase, but it's fun none-the-less.

'99 Touring Package here. Autox'd a few times, but I found the short runs and long downtime at those things too frustrating.

I'm trying to sell it now while summer is coming on, because I don't need two reliable cars with associated payments. But it has been tons o fun.

I would love to have an early NA 1.6 or another '99-00... with a supercharger in either case, naturally :)

I've never likes miatas. But not for any real reason. I'm trying to find a testimony to what is great about them ... because I know so many people love them and they are a bit of a legend.

    Anyone care to enlighten me?

Small, lightweight, cheap parts if you ever have to fix something, huge aftermarket support, rear wheel drive, drop top, excellent balanced handling. Basically, it's a pure sports car.

I owned a 300ZX (90-96 model.. Z32) before getting my Miata. Everyone made the typical Miata jokes when I made the switch but I've owned my Miata for almost 6 years now. I wasn't expecting to keep it more than 2 years, tops, but it's a blast to drive. Yeah, it lacks power but who needs 500 hp that you can't use safely on the streets. At least with a good handling vehicle you can blast through the back streets at a good pace and enjoy the handling.
