My roommate was wondering if there are any good websites out there that tell about how the Miata engines work. I know nothing about cars, but I know that OT does, so I submit it to you. Thanks in advance.

The engine isn't any different than your average 4 cylinder engine. Air comes in, air + fuel + spark makes a bang, piston moves crankshaft, power is transferred to the transmission then to the driveshaft, driveshaft spins rear differential, rear wheels spin.

bullshit asshat. miata engines are powered by the dual overhead cam with variable valve timing electronic lift control wit dual rotaries in a boxer engine design.
