Max Ram in Macbook

    From what i understand new ones support 4gb of ram, i remember hearing mine took 2 so i put 2 in it, its 11 months old can i upgrade to 4 or how do i find out the max?

    good thing the mac pro supports 32gb :rofl:

    lol i thought itd be something they could implement with software upgrade like wireless N, that shit is :bowdown: im putting my 500gb movie drive on a NAS router and sharing N with my roommates, we're all chipping in for a 150 dollar router tho :o

    Well, all of those actually had an N card in it, but it just wasn't active.

    Unfortunately I'm stuck at 2 gigs of ram for a while until I get my Mac Pro

    Anybody know how much a mid-2007 MBP will support?

    15.4" 2.2 GHz Core 2 Duo

    I think it's 4 GB, but I want to make sure before I order...

    You can actually put 3 gigs into those that say only support 2 gigs.

    I've got a 2.0ghz Macbook and I upgraded to 4GB flawlessly. It is wonderful.

    i got a macbook 2.4ghz yesterday it has 2gb(1x1) and i would like to upgrade to 4gb. Recommend any brands for ram?
