what is everyone's thoughts on the max-ot program at ast-ss.com ?

    is it good? bad?

it almost sounds too easy considering you only do 2-3 sets for each exercise and each day there's only 2-3 exercises per muscle group.

i'm a ectomorph , is this for me or what would you recommend?

It seems like its both too little volume to be a good volume routine, and too little intensity to build any strength.

But then again, it seems to account for weight progression, which will force most people to make progress.

i think its success depends on your body type, it worked great for me for an 8 week cycle, I gained a lot of strength and decent size, but it only worked once...its good for getting you to a certain point, but then you need something more advanced

i started with max-ot. i think it was good for me, especially as a newbie lifter because it outlined everything you need to so there was no guess work.

now i still use some principles from it but i don't follow it anymore.

I started with Max OT as well, it worked very well for me. I was continually getting stronger and bigger, but then the overloading got to me. I did it for to long and my joints were starting to bug.

After having ulnar neuropathy and switching to a different workout program, I haven't been able to regain the strength or size that I got from max-ot.

    I like it.

Max OT helped me break a strength plateau. For example, when I started, I was only able to due 65 or 70 lb db bench for 10 reps, after a few months of doing low reps with progressively heavier weight (to 100 lbs), I could easily put up 80's for 10 reps.

i saw great gains strength and size first time jumped into it with 3 years of prior experience. i like the minimal approach mainly because i get ADD in the gym and i hate doing sets over 8 reps because i lose intensity anything past 6 reps. its also good for people who overtrain and dont complement with proper nutrition
