Been doing tons of sets though using low reps with a minute rest between all the sets...
Did more than 60 sets todays for entire upper body/ volume day. Reps were kept at 4-6 range even with medium weight.

I usually do 4-5 sets per lift. Yesterday was back/bi day so I did a total of about 35 sets.

usually about 7 exercises.. 4 for the primary (sometimes 5) and 2-3 for the secondary group..

3-4 sets each, so it can vary from 21-25 usually, but lately i've been going a bit more, or wanting to at least.. the test makes me not wanna stop :hs:

typically, 1-2 core movements, 2-3 supp movements, and anywhere from 3-8 sets per movement. I'd say depending on the day I could be up near 40 sets in a day or closer to 15-20.

edit: upon reading and glancing at my workouts, those numbers are drastically higher than reality.

9-12 per muscle group, anything else is overdoing it.

Maybe 15 at the most if I feel like getting crazy.

Its about that much per muscle group except for maybe back and quads.
Today for example I did 15 sets of 6 of wide grip pullups with a min rest between sets.

Yeah depends on your total volume/intensity. With a Westside style routine I'll do a lot of sets but only a few of them are in the 90%+ area then I'll follow it up with 3-4 sets each of 2-3 accessory lifts.

Maybe at the end of the month I want to try and get to 200 total reps for wide grip pullups even if only 5 reps per set for 40 sets.

Why wide grip chins? Just curious.

I stopped doing them since they would put a lot of stress on my rotator cuffs.

I quit doing them too because I was feeling my right rotator cuff pop every time I'd go all the way down.

Its only for wide grip pullups that I'm consistently doing a high volume of sets. Intensity is relatively low though.
