    I think the 1st one is just a little overexposed (I'm sure it was a bright day, but the breaking part of the wave (forgot what it is called) is solid white)

    Rest look good.

    The closest object is part of the main superstructure, which the Colors are attached and are still flying over the USS Arizona. The second and larger portion is one of the gun turrents (it was removed after she sank).

    Yes it is a little bit over exposed - I still might go back and adjust it - plus it is almost a 100% crop. I was using my 55-200 lens to capture that picture - and I was at full zoom. :hs:

    I like the second shot a lot. Great colors.

    I was camping this weekend and wasted a half hour taking crappy sunset shots with my D70, only to realize they all have bad solar flare. How did you get that shot without it?
