I hate that sack of shit
I just don't find him a very likeable guy. He's cocky and boring to watch
Plus I'm basically homo for george st pierre
He is not boring. I mean come on.
He's one of my favorite fighters. I love how he gets into people's heads without doing shit. He's smart, calculating and a hard worker. I see him proving himself to be one of the greatest coaches of all time in a few years.
Matt Hughes has had some GREAT fights
I have only seen about four or five and two of them were losses to st. pierre and penn. the others were slow-paced victories by way of submission
I hate him as much as the next guy, but come on. Boring fights? He's given us some great fights and is exciting to watch.
Good. I don't like him either.
hughes-trigg 1 & 2
even when he loses its a good fight.
and if anything, being a gsp fan should make you like hughes even more. he brought out the best in georges.
lurk more son.
and borrow some dvd's from suboptimal
hughs gracie was boring and shouldnt have happend
Hughes has more exciting fights when he loses.
How was that fight boring?
not really. i was really worried for gracie and on the edge of my seat at all times
there should be a test you have to pass before you post in the cage
Cage induction sub forum.
I like him a lot. Not as much as GTPJIM but he is one of my most fav fighters. I love his style and attitude.
smart move for him the hughes era is almost over and hes retiring with dignity instead of clinging to scraps like alot of other people have done. He will go down as a legend fosho
ps i still dont like his ass
The man has been in the game for a long time and has done a lot, let the man enjoy his retirement.
Not everyone can be Randy Couture
i dont find him likeable or exciting. he shoots, pins against the cage, dumps his opponent, winds up in 1/2 guard and throws shots from there. hes a bigger version of sean sherk
he is very consistant and has impressive strength tho, for sure.
he found what works and stuck to it much like lidell did but hughes knows when to call it quits
