Just wondering if anyone knows of a polymer that can be used to up pmags for knicks/cracks/ or holes...

I've been looking for putties that may cure or some type of resin but I'm not having much success...

While I'm at it...is there any history of PMAG lips failing over time if the mags are left loaded? I notice they dont have the steel lining like glock mags...

JB Weld. PMAGs come with a feed lip cover to prevent spreading while loaded. I never use mine, so far they've been fine for over a year but who knows.

Throw it away and buy a new one or see if Magpul will replace it.

As for the feedlip issue, I haven't heard of anything yet. Probably be some time still before any issues arise (if they're going to).

Feed lips on PMAGs don't creep when left loaded. The guys at Magpul have a prototype that has been left loaded without the dust cover and it functions fine. Feed lip creep is an issue related to the use of the mag; as rounds are expended, the next round slams to the top of the mag and into the lips.

I leave the covers on for some of mine, but ones that don't have them haven't had any issues with.
