Finally playing through this game so I can start ME2 ASAP.

I'm playing through as a renegade vanguard right now and it is

I want to play through it again as a Paragon though before ME2.

I've heard that I can play through the game again and keep all of my talents and shit, do I get to change my name, appearance, etc etc on my second play-through?

I really want to have a renegade save file, and a paragon save file to import to ME2 so I can play through it both ways also.

    Halp?

when you re-play the same character in ME1 you're the same everything as before

The only reason to re-play ME1 with the same character (from an ME2 perspective) is to get the dinky bonus you get for being level 60, which isn't a reason at all.

Only re-play the same character if you're an achievement whore or just like to do everything possible in a game before moving on.

if you want to just have another game handy for ME2 and you want to play it yourself, you can whip through the game really fast if you turn the difficulty to casual and you ignore the collection quests and planet exploration

I think he's asking about ME1 by itself

After you finish the game, you can select the character you beat the game with when you replay ME1. You have to do this to get to level 60, but you can't change classes or anything, just fill out your skills and add more paragon/renegade points

When I played KOTOR I played through it twice, once light side, once dark side.

I kinda want to play through ME1 again as a paragon, but Renegade is pretty fun.

So what you are saying is the Renegade/Paragon points do NOT reset if I play through it again on the same character?

meh bioshock 2 would have to be exponentially better than the original bioshock to be anywhere near as good as ME2
i think i'm gonna use the money I was planning on using for bioshock 2 on getting bad company 2 :o
