Is a pretty good console game that Marvel fans should like. I've heard good things, and metacritic says it's average review score is 8.2 (including an 8.2 from IGN I think).

I know this is old news but I saw there was a 360 thread, but it started off talking about Gears of War and I figured this would be a more appropriate game given the forum topic.

If its anything like X-Men Legends 2, then it should be a good game. I hope they create a Marvel based 3rd person action/adventure RPG type of game.

It's ok, pretty repetative, horrible story, lame bad guys.

But the graphics, and the use of super powers is pretty good, and the game is pretty long and can be challenging.

    Here's a hint, use Deadpool's dual-strike teleporting move non-stop and you'll win easy.

I was fighting the wrecking crew last night with cap, spidey, torch and wolvie.. cap died instantly (he did get wrecked from the fireball bridge, my fault).. torch and spidey dropped within minutes and wolverine took down all four of them in no time. I was shocked. it was like he didnt get a scratch on him

i thought it was pretty bad, and i dont know how IGN could have given it 8 or more. those games went down hill since the first x-men legends game.

terrible story, twitchy platforming, silly fighting environments, terrible bosses (who the hell is arcade and why was that part of the game so awful?), and a random assortment of characters that the story doesnt tie together

The Wii is only good for some games, the motion thing doesn't practically work that well for many types of games.

Everyone says games are repetitive, but every game is. Some are just better at hiding the fact that you are doing essentially the same thing for hours.

As for story, the voice acting is a bit cheesy but there are tons of Marvel references and that's kinda cool.

I stopped playing and started a new file when I got to that part just because of how stupid Arcade's level was.

I made it through the game using Deadpool's dual-guns almost exclusively.

Is it worth it to play through the game again on hard just because you can use Nick Fury?

I have been debating playing through it again but since he is the only character i didn't use the first time I'm not sure if the repeatition is worth it.

Your best bet is to pick out 4 to 6 characters out of the bunch and just stick with them. My friend and I played and beat the game pretty quickly pretty much sticking with Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, and Spider-Man. We also used Ghost Rider and Silver Surfer pretty regularly too.

Not exactly the best character on the game, but I enjoyed playing as him just because I'm a Nick Fury fan. :o

spider-man because of spider-sense and web snare, wolverine because he is fucking unstoppable, moonknight because i love him, colossus because he is a powerhouse, iron man for no real reason at all.

symbiote spidey, classic wolverine, new avenger iron man, and ultimate colossus is my current lineup.

Spider-Sense kicked a lot of ass. I didn't use any of the X-Men because all of their abilities were just the same stuff from X-Men Legends and I wanted something new.
