i got this little .22 from my grandma years and years back. my guess is that its over 20yrs old and it needs a good cleaning. but i cant get the damn thing apart. all i was able to get out was the spring from teh back. anybody know how to tear one of these down?

the 25 and 30 came up in the search :dunno:

  17. I think he was actually trying to be helpful. Just because you don't own that exact model, there could easily be something in one of those manuals that could help you figure how to get the one you do have apart.

by assuming he didn't search first, and not actually answering his question... sometimes people post questions for... get this, an answer... because they can't find the answer elsewhere... hoping someone would actually have the answer, instead of giving them a hardtime about it... and your replies seemed more like that, than you were trying to help... just saying that's how it looked from the outside, even if that's not how it was intended.

    oh okay.

well, from the searches i did last night, about the only thing that came up about the marlin 88 was that it was a bitch to disassemble.
