would you? i dont think i would
In 99 out of 100 cases....no
I accidentally stumbled upon this but, I'm curious to know as, why?
Dual military families are difficult but workable.
The most difficult part, IMO, getting orders to the same general area or same base.
There's a married Marine couple here where I work. They have been fortunate to be stationed at the same post for their last few PCS moves.
absolutely no fucking way
I could be wrong, but I think this thread may have been made on the assumption that the Marines are sluts.
Either that or the assumption that there are no Marines worth marrying since most of the replies are from MALE Marines.
I assume this thread was started b/c to imply they are either sluts or lesbian sluts
Married-a-Marine crew checking in:
I was a Sergeant with MSSG-13, she was a newly minted Lance Cooley with Comm Co., H&S Bn., Camp Pendleton. We never worked together; my shop didn't care at all, and hers didn't care so long as I didn't come around. She's gorgeous, we had alot in common, hit it off well, and never looked back. It was the best because I could come home and bitch about my day, and instead of getting sympathy without understanding, she knew exactly what I was talking about. Plus, dual BAH FTMFW. We had no bills, only one card, set money aside and still lived like high-rollers. I can't speak for anyone else, but we worked out great.
We're both out now, and it'll be 8 years next March.
Dual BAH? Is that legal?
Yes, it's legal. Both servicemembers rate it; the caveat is that only one can claim BAH with dependents; the other must take BAH without. The plus is that you can choose which member claims BAH/with.
I have yet to see an undesirable female Marine. AF on the other hand
And get double BAH? Fuck yes I would.
Most WM's resemble the bastard offspring of Rosie O'Donnel, however you'll occasionally see that rare needle in the hay stack who is just smoking hot.
I had this hot WM Cpl come up to me last week, we were making eye contact and I thought she was pretty into me from her body language, she gets up and comes over to me and i'm thinking this is it, she's going to come over and flirt with me or something but nope... she was just asking if she could have my gatorade bottle when I was finished so she could use it as a dip spitter. Clarry lady right thurrr.
my plt sgt married the 17 yo boot pfc. she got pregnant 3 weeks after she came onboard and got discharged from the Corps
a guy I work with Prior Marine 8 yrs now AF officer got married to another marine in his tech school. they are still married
I too married a Marine. We worked together (I was a Cpl, she a PFC at the time). We kept it to ourselves and tried to hide it until she defaped to her parent unit. We were engaged a couple days later. Been married for over a year now and I couldnt imagine life without her. We have an amazing relationship
I don't see why this would be any different from other branches always marrying each other. My God AF dorms go nuts whenever a new girl arrives if she's halfway decent. Someone will have a ring on that finger within her first 6 months. Either that or she will have had sex with everyone and complain because she got played.
wow u guys have it easy thats true i know
