    He is referring to the 10 week OCS course. I have completed the 2-6 weeker. From what I hear, the 10 weeker is pretty tough considering you don't have time to heal up if you get broke. PM me if you got more questions about OCS.

    So Combined is probably the hardest (compared to the Junior/Senior program)?

    Are there any advantages to doing PLC instead of just waiting for OCS after you graduate? Only one I could think of would be the cash.

    There are pros and cons for both programs. OCC allows you to get it all done in one trip. You don't have to go through all the BS games in the first few weeks twice as you would with the 2-6 week course. The PLC Juniors/Seniors course allows you to heal up before heading back for Seniors. I knew one guy who was in the 10 week course, dislocated his shoulder in the 9th week and was sent home. Sucks big time. Check out marineocs.com for more info.
