I have about everything, and i'm about to head to the video store which has a good selection

I'm a marine corps leghumper wannabe as you may know, but I like military docs in general

Anything you can recommend that I may have not seen?

PS, I watched The Fog of War not too long ago and if you haven't seen it, it's a good watch

We Were Soldiers, with Mel Gibson.

Not a documentary, but based on a true story.

Ranger AO, the book is 1000000x better. the last part were the helicopter hovers and wastes 10 million NVA was over the top even for hollywood. as Moore stated in an interview. also covers the disaster at LZ Albany.

see if you can watch/rent/buy the PBS doc Vietnam: A television history. best thing ive seen on how misdirected/militarily & politically that war was.

jarhead, best book on the marines without the narrator actually ever getting to shoot his rifle in combat

Not just any Marine, but a STA (Surveillance & Target Acquisition) Marine, in other words, a sniper.
