he's a black belt under fabio gurgel

he won his weight division in adcc both in 2003 and 2005. i think his weight division is 66-77 kg

he got third in the absolute division this year

he's won the mundials before too i think.

what else do you want to know?

he also says he only trains one day a week no gi

in his weight class he's had a hard time with cameron earle (ralph gracie black belt)

besides that, i think hes pretty much destroyed everyone else in his weight class.

i told you 66-76 kg so probably like 165 lbs

he was born jan 1st 1982. so hes almost 24 years old.

    i dont know his height.

66-76kg is about a 20lb range though, so i wasn't sure how big/small he is

and damn, i thought he was late 20's :hs:

i usually don't know the intricacies when i'm watching a bjj competition, but i've watched him beat a lot of very high profile people

    he's incredible

He just doesn't allow you to make any mistakes at all against him, his game is so technical and tight it's incredible. just watching his match against diego was inspiring, so many transitions and traps that he lays. As he says in his instructionals he's always one step ahead.

i've seen a few of his instructionals...it seems like for every submission he attempts, there's always another submission that he can go for once his opponent tries to defend the first

then again, i'm sure that's standard for a BJJ black belt, but still is pretty impressive for a know-nothing like myself :hs:
