I've been fiddling around for ways to have my entire mp3 drive from my PC only available to my laptop. I need to have it both read/write mode so i require the most secure way of going about this. Since my laptop is connected to my wireless router (which has been configured to only allow authorised MAC addresses) i feel that i need another layer of protection, for peace of mind.

They're both XP Pro SP2, and what i need is to have it mapped since i use serato on the laptop (dj software that updates mp3 file information with cue points etc.). I've been looking all over permissions to add my laptop in the list but it will only let me add what's local i.e everyone, guest, administrator. I tried to go with "everyone" and put a password but can't even find the option to create user/pass :greddy:
