so this week (and possibly next) i am helping out a friend who owns a construction company and gutting a house that burned down. and then ripping half of the structure down. its extremely intense labor for an 8 hour workday. i upped my food intake for today to compensate for the extra exertion and snacked periodically through the day so i am not worried about that. what i am wondering is how will this affect muscle recovery, and should i just take the next week off from the gym. i killed my legs yesterday and they were sore as hell this morning but by the time lunch was over i barely felt the doms. is all the extra blood flow helping repair them quick or am i just wasting the workout?
