Mandriva 2007..

    Anyone install this yet?

    I downloaded and installed through VMWare.. I really like the GUI. Need to play with it more...

    I downloaded the beta a few months ago and damn I was impressed. Their AIGLX/Xgl stuff is the best (supporting both out of the box, that is sweet (any other way and a lot of ATi (in particular) users would be left in the dirt)).

    It's a really nice OS, I should use it some more and perhaps start recommending it instead of Ubuntu.

    We're running that on a music stream box here.

    It's only purpose is running apache with a web interface for queueing(sp?) music to be played on it.

    It detects all hardware extremely well. It's a greatly pussified version of linux. It's perfect for the lazy.

    I'm impressed with it. I have no experience with past versions of Mandriva or Mandrake, but I really like.
