Cheap fuck if your going to blow your brains out buy the damn gun and go do it somewhere privately.
I would have taken his unused ammo and targets.
He's not usin' them.
thats why smart ranges don't rent to people who are alone.
our local ranges only rent to members.
so damn selfish.
way to give fuel to the anti's...
If I were to decide to off myself this is the route im going. http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5j030ObKjBgFqOhsjo33CVUXAzCdw
All of the ranges I know of here implement the buddy system if customer does not bring his or her own firearm.
I was at a range that did that same thing a while back. Took me a while to figure out why.
Second once this year
What's wrong with a single person going in and wanting to rent a gun? What if the don't have any friends and want to learn how to shoot.
that is the range i go to..i went shooting the day after it happened and noticed the corner was power-washed...i asked the range officers but they couldnt comment cause the investigation was still pending...fucked up shit.
edit: oh and the man died at temple hospital that following friday - it happened on a wed.(i go to temple U)
the issue is that the gun range doesn't want a suicide, and people who come in groups are WAY less likely to try to off themselves.
It really is a liability issue. It's cheaper for them to just lose a little bit of business than to settle/deal with the lawsuits that are bound to happen if there is a suicide.
should of rented a .45 or 10
