This guy was a friend of a friend. While reading the article, I thought to myself "too bad he didn't have a CCW and this shit wouldn't of happened." Then I read the last sentance: "Police said that Marton had a license to carry a concealed handgun, but was unable to draw his weapon in time." Damn ...:wtc:

Not trying to fault what the guy did, but just for anyone else that might be reading this.

Whenever I'm meeting someone off the internet or through a classified ad I always make sure to leave the information of who I'm meeting and where I'm going with someone else, and then I'll have someone tail me and keep an eye on things while I'm meeting the person. Might not stop me from getting hurt, but it'll help to make sure the person gets caught.

:werd: Not to mention, it's always best to meet up during the day, especially if you're buying something like a car and you're expecting money to change hands.

This makes no sense I don't know about laws in Texas but you have to transfer papers ect when you buy a car in PA and that requires notary ect...these places aren't open past 9pm

Never heard of that before, here all you have to do is sign over the title, then the new owner has to take care of the rest at the DMV.
