Making smoothies... any suggestons?

    I want to start making my own smoothies but I have never done it before. Any decent blenders out there for around 50$?

    Also I love the muscle punch smoothie from smoothie king. Anyone know how to make this type of smoothie? Anyone have any suggestions on the type of multivitamins I should put in a smootie? Thank you in advamce for your help. :)

    Get the Blendtech blender so you can throw a plate or two in with your smoothies.

    As for a smoothie...the only type I ever make is a traditional protein smoothie:

    2-3 scoops of whey
    ~2 cups of milk
    2tbsp peanut butter
    1/2 a banana
    A little ice

    I wonder if I cut out the whey and peanut butter and add strawberries to that if it would be any good.

    i have a fruit smooth almost every morning. just OJ and frozen mixed berries.

    simple and good.

    My breakfast almost every morning is 1.5 cups mixed fruit, 2-3 tbsp of flax seeds and 2 scoops vanilla protein. All blended in about 10oz of water.

    Any good multivitamin suggestions? I am not looking for a full on protein smoothie, I want a smothie that has a lot of vitamins and nutrients because I am finding myself seriously lacking energy during the day :hs:

    Thats probably the rest of your diet and not just your lack of a multi-vitamin.

    What should I eat? I am trying to eat more fruits, hence the smoothies.

    used to always do smoothies. I think I was taking in wayyy to much sugar though. Best buy is to go to walmart or a grocery store and get frozen fruit and blend er up.

    I sometimes brew a pot of coffee and refrigerate the night before and make a shake with coffee, chocolate protein, spoon of peanut butter, a frozen banana, and a little ice. VERY good for the morning imo.

    Every morning, I make a smoothie with-
    1/2 cup plain yogurt
    1 banana
    1 tbsp honey
    1 pure acai smoothie bar
    1/2 cup strawberries
    1/4 cup mango
    1/2 cup blueberries
    2 scoops of whey
