What programs do I need to make DVDs out of Mpeg or Avi files. I've tried to use Nero, DVD clone and Adobe Primer and i've had no sucess with any of them. In Adobe it says the resolution is correct. What can I do to change this. Thanks

Winavi will convert avis and mpegs to a video_ts folder, at which point you can burn it onto a DVD. Fantastic program!

What do I put in the audio_ts folder then? Nero won't let me burn it if I put it all in the video_ts folder.

You generally don't use the audio_ts folder. You simply click and drag your video_ts folder on your hard drive to the left pane in Nero, and it should work. You need to make sure that you select DVD Video in the wizard before you can do this, however, but I figure you're already figured that out ;)

DVD Santa. Easiest program to use. You can easily "acquire" it

Since you've not really been specific about what you're trying to do, other than convert an AVI to DVD-Video (which Winavi typically does without a problem), may I suggest this page? You can find your specific situation and get this problem fixed.
