If your DVD player supports .avi play back, you can just burn the files as a data disc and use the biult-in folder list to play one.

If you want a DVD menu structure program, any DVD authoring software will allow you to do it. I use Roxio 7 for that.

Yea man, screw Nero. I've pretty much used them all, but I just happen to like Roxio. All of the programs I need are there and are easy to use.

Also check out dvdrhelp.com. There are tons of guides that show you how to do everything.

I think Camtasia Studio has a menu maker in it.

VideoHelp.com (use to dvdrhelp.com and vcdhelp.com) guides: How to author a basic DVD there is also How to author a complex DVD
Each guide list what tools are used

There are a ton of other guides there to help you convert the AVIs to DVD (some guides using all freeware tools) plus how to burn it and what tools are used and so on.

Yeah, Videohelp.com has been great for any kind of help for authoring or converting for me.

But off hand, I'd like to recommend TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6. It's relatively user-friendly, and quick.

ok well i have Roxio Easy CD & DVD 6 installed... trying to add files into DVD Builder but it wont let me. im trying to burn my Desperate housewives episodes as .avi files but it just wont let me. i click add and nothing happens. do the files have to be a specific format or size or something? Roxio sees these .avi files as have 0 FPS, 0 length, 0x0 size, everything 0. wat's wrong?
