Alright, i'm a college student and my families DVD collection is at home and i'm left with nothing, is there any way i can make backups of the DVD's so that i can watch them at school. I'm not a huge fan of downloading them off the internet since that type of stuff can get me into a bunch of trouble with the school and it takes forever. Thanks for all the help.

Still illegal to make a "backup" copy of a DVD you don't own.

DVDShrink <--this can not do copy protected DVDs, you'll need DVD Decrypter which you'll have to Google it.
    or
ShrinkTo5 <--this one you can download a decrypter so you can do copy protected DVDs

It's a no-no to discuss that in this forum.
