Along w/ another 2LT, I've been accepted into the Army's EOD program. We'll be the first Transportation Corps officers to go to EOD! :wiggle:

The suit test.....that shit ain't no joke son!!! Most physical demanding thing I've done to date. I think I pissed off the unit that I was supposed to show up at, my CC doesn't understand why TC officers are going EOD now. :) Anyways, i'm happy as hell, ready for 10 weeks at Red Stone then 28 more at Eglin AFB.

I was selected to go EOD, until my assignment changed to a priority, then I couldn't. The TAPP suit test is no joke. Pools of sweat in the fingertips of my gloves FTL.

the unit I'm in right now is so bad that we had a guy reclass to EOD. Top asked why and he said he'd rather chance getting his head blown off than spend another 14 hour shift sitting in a chair wanting to blow his own head off.

    Of course. :ugh:

I've told you this many times. Ask Giraff3 - there are several of you signal types that I follow over the course of your careers.

WTF is going on at abudeen?

The only way the army will keep me in is if I get EOD as an 03, we'll see in a year and a half.

Same situation as well. My orders were pinpoint from day one to a company. I thought I was special, little did I know I was "priority fill" and all the suck that comes with it.

Our hope is in the fact that they are giving away EOD slots to Captains at the career course.

All our priority fills were guys at the top of the PT charts in our class, it couldn't be a coincidence... could it?
