How are MAK-90s? I've read that they're really good AKs. Since the price on WASR-10s seem to be going up is this a good buy or what? It's got a synthetic black stock. It's in good shape. It looks like this one but the muzzle brake is bigger. It's a local sale so no FFL or waiting bullshit.

Seems pretty decent since it will be FTF no shipping or fees, The one thing with MAK's is some of them have the rear of the reciever cut on a slant, meaning not all standard stock sets will fit on it, but there are ones out there specifically for them, but then maybe you'll like that stock.

I already love that stock. I messed around with it when I was looking at it and it was perfect for me. I think that the receiver was milled, too. I don't remember seeing any rivets in it. I could be wrong about that, though. I didn't think to look at it.

Who gives a shit what it looks like? It's sturdy, it provides a good cheek weld and it's very lightweight.

:mamoru: Thats what I was thinking but I didnt want to offend him if he ends up keeping it :mamoru: I'de toss some wood on it, see if the seller still has the original wood, will be a butthole stock but if you can find a stock that matches the handguards you'll save a few bucks.

:mamoru: Well if you like it... meh I had one of those stocks too, i think anyone who bought a post ban ak after the begining of the ban bought one at one point, most post ban chinese imports were stamped, but there are some milled ones, besides rivets other dead give away is the dimple in the magwell area, the pic you posted is a stamped you can see the small dimple less then an inch, milled recievers will have a bigger recessed area in the magwell thats about the entire length of the magwell.

Well TL1000 keeps saying that they can be found for around $250 and they seem to be running around $350ish from what I can tell. I just assumed that people are trying to get more for them :dunno:.

I woud say so, stock for stock the internals are better, this ones used so he may or may not of changed parts around, since its got the fiberforce on it probably not, you still have to meet 922r if you want to put a regular stock on it.. Finish is better, if it is in fact a milled reciever then I'de consider it much better then a wasr or sar, I sold my milled Polytech a decision i regret to this day. Chinese guns never had issues with crooked sights and such either. If it werent for the sloppy finish and chanced of crooked sights I'de have nothing against the romanian rifles, dont care about the crappy century trigger parts after using RSA trigger parts there the only USA triggers I'll put in my rifles.

A little high I think, but the trigger on the Norinco is a lot better than the Romanians.

$400 local isnt bad, You can findem on arfcom for $350 but you gotta be on the ball to grab one at that price they go almost as quick as there posted, $400 no shipping, no FFL, seems pretty decent to me.
