only one guy said he was muscular haha. I think the point of that thread is you don't have to be big to be considered athletic. and you dont have to be skinny to be considered in shape

shut up man, seriously. from a person who has bulked to 170 before there is nothing wrong with saying that. i've seen lots of people on f&n go from skinny to pretty decent sized over the years.

im not saying i was big. i was 120 out of high school. you talked to me in that thread as if I was a complete nub. i've been on ot since 02 and have been actively reading f&n since then. i'll admit that there have been periods where I stopped going to the gym simply due to financial reasons.

im not siding with riu818, especially after he mentioned the word tone in one of his posts. yes it was retarded that he called that phelps character big. the point of the thread was if hes skinny and happy with it then so be it. the point is that phelps is a medal holder for the sport he participates in and trains and has different goals than you. do you have a medal in lifting?

not everyone wants to be a huge ass powerlifter, and you dont have to be that size to know a lot about fitness and nutrition. so stfu. you wanted me to come in here and argue in the F&N haven I'm here.

I skateboard and snowboard actively. sure I want to be ripped but I dont want to go past 180 and I want to squat over 320. I'm only 150 right now but I'm happy with my strength gains. I'm happy with my progress and work hard. I know I'm not the strongest or not nearly the biggest, but it doesnt mean I dont know anything about it. my main reason for lifting is not to be overly huge, but rather have more muscle mass to aid in snowboarding. I dont really care about lifting heavy shit, rather not breaking bones when I fall. I've only seen lean guys snowboard well, and have yet to see one overweight person huck themselves and put their body through the stress I do over winter.

There is nothing to argue about now. I was inviting the people in the main forum to come argue about why they think being skinny is better.

You're skinny. If you're happy with it, then that is great.

Well I think this thread has served its purpose.

Also, I wouldn't invite the main forum over here to "argue" anything. This subject has been done to death anyway.
