What do you think about this? I hate getting hyped for a main event only to be begging for 2 more rounds.

Well knowing that it could drag out over 3 rounds and there would be a fourth i would be much happier.

Sounds good to me... I don't want to see all fights 5 rounds because we wouldn't get to see very many fights on a card, but it makes sense to have the main event a 5 rounder regardless of whether or not a title is involved... Granted, I'd rather gouge my eyes out with a rusty ice pick than watch 2 more rounds of Rashad/Bisbing, but most main events are pretty good...

It is a let down when you're hoping for a war and Rampage knocks out Chuck in 2 min. We pay for five rounds and get one.

Late round finishes are always the most exciting, especially in the 4th or 5th.

I read somewhere they (dana) were wanting to go to 5 rounds for all fights and 7 rounds for title fights.

thats stupid, then it is pretty much becoming who is the better athlete, not who is the better fighter.

7 rounds, then yes, the majority of the time the better athlete would win.
