the music almost made me poop myself from suspense.

seriously it'd be very dorky and worthless for me to take a class like that because i'm not say a contractor but i think it'd be fun. Its like nasa space camp for adults.

Haha remember SEALs fast is slow and slow is fast, always ready yourself to be ready. Just like the whole entire military it's one big contradiction.

I've actually heard really good things about Costa's classes from a couple different people. Considering the ultra high round count (compared to most classes), I think it seems like a good value.

Yeah, the video did seem over-done.... I've heard he's actually pretty normal IRL, and a great instructor. Undoubtedly they realize who their target market is, and advertise accordingly. I'm sure many a ARFCOMMER came after watching that video, and are working overtime at McD's saving money for it.

Taking that class IRL looks like it'd be a blast, and I wouldn't give a shit if anyone called me tacticool I'd just transition on their ass.

They should have had Mark LaRue make a cameo...they couldn't make DVD copies fast enough at $995 per.

I've attended Chris's advanced carbine class. It was well worth it. I believe this was before Magpul Dynamics was even in existence. He's a good guy, and so is his dad. He father was up here with him, assisting with range safety and reloading his mags (he shoots a lot, along with you. I can't STAND instructors who can't perform the drills they're asking you to do. He'll make you feel bad about your abilities when you watch him). Chris's dad spent quite a bit of time off to the side helping my wife with basic pistol shooting (she was just there watching, not attending), using his ammo. At the time, it was just a group of friends who wanted to train, and Chris put together a class on what we wanted to know. He was extremely knowledgeable, though he has an atypical background (Coast Guard).

You would be hard pressed to find any quality instructor who is "ex-Delta." You'll find some 18-whatever guys, an occasional SEAL, and a few Rangers. The majority of quality instructors are plain ol' military dudes who have studied the art of fighting with a gun to the point where they can teach it to someone else. Not everyone in that category has military experience.
