Anyone know any information about MACV-SOG in the Vietnam War? My dad was a LRRP, but thats all he tells us. My brother looked up some of his records at Ft. Campbell and found out some things that point him to MACV not just a LRRP. so if anyone has any ideas where i could look some of this stuff up about him, specifically, thatd be awesome. PM for details if you can/want to help look it up. I've been trying but NO CIGARO! :mamoru:

I used to know a guy on active duty that was MACV-SOG. He was a 45 year old SF CW4. Thats all I know.

Nope, not on there. He told me once that they had him "assigned" to an ammunition unit, and he was unit armour, but why would they put an 11B as an ammunition specialist who went to SERE, Sniper school, and Recon school in country? maybe it was a cover? If i could ask him i would, but you know, he wont tell us anyway.
