After booting in windows, I realize how shitty the USB mouse sensitivity and stuff is in OSX. Theres far too much acceleration and I'm not as precise with it. Is there something I can do to make this mouse perform exactly the same as it does in windows? I've tried USB overdrive, but I just can't seem to get the settings just right.

by just right, I mean, no acceleration. In OSX, with a USB Mouse, if you move the mouse slowly across a certain distance, the cursor will move only a little. If you move it quickly over the same distance, the cursor will go really far on the screen. I don't want that. I want the cursor to move in the same fashion as move the mouse.

I'm tryign steermouse now, IIRC, this wasn't very good, I couldn't get the settings quite right

when i move my usb mouse the cursor moves the same way :dunno:
i also change my settings depending on what it is that i am doing, if im working in photoshop or something like that than i will have the tracking low but if im just surfing the net and stuff i give it full gas to really throttle that cursor across the screen in no time

I prefer the mouse movement in OS X pretty much by default. :o
