I'm going to be doing a project in school for my grad. project on macro shots. So far the project is based on nature shots like the common shots of water droplets on a leaf and close ups of animals, yada yada yada... I also would like to do close up shots of computer parts and what not. If you guys have any recent shots that you'd like to share to help give me some ideas, that'd be helpful. Also, I will be using a 35mm, not a digital camera.

    Thanks

I second that.. even though i generally dont shoot macros... (i tend to find them too gimmicky) but composition > *.*

lenses.... macro lenses allow you to shorten the focus distance to a subject... on my lens there is a little switch that you put the lens into macro mode.
