Out the door prices are even cheaper than the Apple education discount!
anyone order from them before? thinking about getting a macbook pro..
They're a really big online Mac retailer, PCMall is their parent company. I've ordered things from them before, and I haven't had any problems.
not cheaper than the student developer discount
Haven't ordered from MacMall in years but about 10 years ago we use to all the time. Checkout this old ad they had. Someone's about to make a lesbo pr0n.
They've been around for years. I think I ordered a Power Macintosh 8100/80 from them actually
I have to shell out the $99 to sign up, though.
Plus sales tax in WA is huge, 8.9%.
No....I think they're including that mail in rebate with the advertised price.
Right, but if I factor the no sales tax, it's still lower than the education price OTD for me.
Base model iMac, Apple edu store: $1,149 + 8.9% sales tax = $1,251.27 OTD
Base model iMac, MacMall price: $1,194 - $50 rebate + no sales tax and shipping (well, after rebates anyway) = $1,149.00 OTD
