This weekend I went to Mackinac Island with my girlfriend and her family. Her family owns Ryba Fudge so almost everything was free. :) Heres a map for people who have no fucking clue where Mackinac Island is.

Waiting for the ferry to come pick us up, I took this one.

A view from the end of the ferry. The water sprayed up as high as the boat, pretty sweet!:eek4:

I woke up the next morning early since I had to sleep on the floor next to her parents. I couldn't sleep at all. So anyway, I woke up early and went outside and this caught my eye.

    as did this.

We went to a butterfly house and there were hundreds of those little fuckers flying around. I saw this and the little girl wasn't shy for the camera. I was afraid after taking it her parents would go after me, but they didn't.

We rode our bikes around the entire island since cars aren't allowed. We stopped at a small spring and I took this handheld with my 70-200 vr.

A shot from inside the Grand Hotel @ 500 dollars a night.

Caught my eye when we were playing on the beach.

My girlfriend's cousin loves airplanes so we took a ride up to the airport one night. Singlespeed bikes going all the way up the island = bad call.

And finally, a picture of my girlfriend in the water.

I only used my 70-200 VR and my Tokina 12-24. I brought my 50 1.4 along but I used it once.

If you're thinking about getting the Tokina don't hesitate. Beautiful lens.
