I picked up Machine Head's new album yesterday. I think it's pretty good, actually. Anyone else given it a listen?

I really liked their previous album ("Through the Ashes of Empires"), and "The Blackening" didn't disappoint at all.

I picked it up at Hastings (I don't know if there is one where you live). There isn't anywhere else around here to buy decent music :sad2:

I've been listening to Machine Head since "The More Things Change" came out my freshman year in HS. They've had their ups and downs, but have always been my most favorite band of all time. "The Blackening" is amazing, and a great exclamation point on their return to form that started on "Through The Ashes of Empires".

Fave tracks are Halo, Beautiful Mourning, Wolves....ahh fuck they're all stand out. 10/10. Seriously.
