Macbook won't load programs....

    I just got my replacement Macbook, and I installed Limewire on it and it was working fine. When I exited it and tried to restart later the icon would bounce once really suickly and nothing would load. I deleted it, then tried downloading it again byt the installer wouldnt even load

    anyone know whats going on? im getting frustrated.

    did u download a PPC version? make sure its the UB.

    i've had that before with some programs. it is often cuz it isn't universal like xenon said.

    I downloaded it off the limewire site? and it worked on my old macbook that i had to return because of a bad disc drive?

    I forgot its a new computer and hsnt been updated, im downloading the updates to see if thatll do anything

    is it the only program that does it?

    could always try dumping the prefs file. its in your user folder/library/preferences usualy there is a prefs file for everything. I used to save all of my firefox settings and stickies before reinstalls at work. If its int here it will say limewire.pref or something like that. Just trash it and log out and back in(or restart).
